PONY PALS CAMP 2020
Campers 5- 7 years old

2020 Pony Pals Camp is for all horse-crazy kids wanting to learn to ride and care for these
wonderful animals.
This camp is geared toward 5 - 7 year olds who will be introduced to horses and
horseback riding in Maryland (MD).  Our Counselors, staff and CIT's (Counselor-In-Training) are hand-
picked for their care and understanding of these young riders.

Our Pony Pals Summer Camp is great...
  • for kids who love the animals and the outdoors
  • for learning to ride a great pony or horse
  • because of our low campers to counselors ratio

Daily Activities include:
  • two daily lessons (Wednesday is "Water Wednesday" so no afternoon lesson)
  • horsemanship lessons:  daily care, horse safety, grooming, tacking, feeding, etc.
  • Thursday afternoon Show Prep lesson
  • interactive lectures
  • horse-related arts & crafts

Special Activities include:
  • pizza day
  • water games day
  • western day
  • bareback day
  • Graduation Day - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will not be holding the Graduation
Day ceremonies.  Thank you for understanding.

Campers bring their own bag lunch to enjoy under the shade trees.

I rode at Woodland as a kid (won my first blue ribbon here!) and now I am back as an adult - and my
son is learning to ride here too!
